Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for topping
Instructions:
The mushrooms should be cooked in a skillet until they are browned and soft
Put them away
Put the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Take the mixture and shape it into 4 burger patties
Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat
To get the burger patties to the doneness you like, cook them for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare
Add a lot of crumbled blue cheese to top of each burger patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt
To make a special sauce, mix mayonnaise and ketchup together while the burgers are cooking
In a toaster or on the grill, toast the burger buns until theyre just barely browned
Place a lettuce leaf on top of the bottom bun and spread the special sauce on it
Then add the cooked burger patty, melted blue cheese, sauted mushrooms, tomato slices, and onion slices
Put the other half of the bun on top, and your Blue Cheese Mushroom Burger is ready to go
