Skinny Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A healthier take on a classic grilled chicken sandwich, this Skinny Grilled Chicken Sandwich is packed with flavor but low in calories. The creamy sauce adds a tangy kick to the juicy chicken, making it a satisfying and guilt-free meal.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions
  • Sliced pickles

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Light mayonnaise, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a small bowl

This is the sauce for you

Add salt and pepper to the chicken breasts

As long as the chicken breasts are cooked all the way through and have nice grill marks, they are done

Grill the whole wheat burger buns until they are just barely browned while the chicken is cooking

Just take the chicken off the grill when its done and let it rest for a while

Spread a lot of the sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the sandwiches together

On top of the sauce, put a chicken breast that has been grilled

Place lettuce leaves, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickles on top

To finish the sandwich, put the other half of the bun on top
