Muddy Buddy Popcorn - Taste and Tell

A delightful treat, Muddy Buddy Popcorn combines the rich flavors of peanut butter and chocolate with the crunchiness of popcorn. The coating of powdered sugar adds an enticing sweetness. Ideal for special occasions and movie evenings

Ingredients:

• 12 cups popped popcorn
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Place popped popcorn in a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt semisweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth

Stir in vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture

Pour the chocolate mixture over the popcorn and gently toss to coat evenly

Transfer the coated popcorn to a large resealable plastic bag

Add powdered sugar to the bag, seal, and shake until popcorn is well coated

Spread the popcorn on a baking sheet to cool and set

Once cooled, sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the muddy buddy popcorn

Allow it to set completely before breaking into clusters
