Lemon Herb Salmon Burgers

The lemon herb salmon burgers are a new and tasty take on regular burgers. For a light and filling meal, they are made with salmon, fresh herbs, and tangy lemon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and mayonnaise for garnish

Instructions:

Put the salmon fillet into a food processor with some small pieces

Red onion, dill, parsley, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice should all be added to the food processor along with the salmon

Pulse the ingredients together until they stick together, but be careful not to do it too much

The burgers should have some spring to them

Use your favorite amount of salt and pepper to season the salmon mix

Combine well

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat

When the salmon burgers are golden on the outside and cooked all the way through, theyre done

In the pan, toast the hamburger buns for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Stack your burgers by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, then a salmon patty, a tomato slice, and a dollop of mayonnaise

Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot
