A fancy lemon browned butter sauce lifts this pan-seared salmon recipe and gives the delicate fish a burst of flavor. This dish is great for a fancy dinner at home or a special event.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to the salmon fillets
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
Put the salmon fillets in the pan with the skin side down
Cook for four to five minutes, or until the skin is crispy
The fillets should be cooked through after being turned over and for another 3 to 4 minutes
Take the salmon out of the pan and set it aside
Over medium heat, melt the butter in the same pan
It will take about 34 minutes of cooking the butter until it turns golden brown
To the browned butter, add the minced garlic and cook for one minute
Add the lemon zest and juice and stir them in
Cook for one more minute
Add the browned butter sauce to the salmon fillets that have been cooked
Add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving
